Tian Gan (Heavenly Stem) Nei Gong
Liminal Bodywork is excited to host Marcus DeGrazia for a full day of martial arts practice. If you’ve been interested in a deeper and external application of the arts, this is an amazing opportunity not to be missed!
About Tian Gan (Heavenly Stem) Nei Gong
This set of exercises embodies the quintessential duality that is at the core of Chinese Medicine and Martial Arts. These exercises simultaneously offer a systematic way to loosen or "wring out" the spine while teaching the fundamental concept of transferring force from the ground up. This way of producing or accepting force can be applied anywhere in life where one needs to exert one's self. And in Chinese Medicine, the health of the spine is paramount for good posture and overall vitality. We will explore these exercises in depth and move with partners to exemplify the "connectedness" that a mature practice of this set of exercises reveals.
Program runs 10-4 with a full lunch provided.
Limited class size
$150 for the day.
The Tian Gan or “Heavenly Stem” is like the trunk of a tree. It is the body's central energetic connection between Heaven & Earth
