Massage Therapy is a covered benefit under NYSHIP. Once members have met their $1250 deductible from any out-of-network provider, they are entitled to 20 visits per year with no copay. If you have not met your deductible, visits from our practice can count towards your deductible and will be included in the 20 visits per year for massage therapy.
Request a prescription for massage therapy from your Primary Care Provider. Make sure the prescriptions include the relevant diagnosis (back pain, neck pain, etc.). Prescription must be valid at the time of visit.
Call my office with the prescription to set up an appointment. We will need your member ID and driver’s license information to verify benefits.
Once we have received your prescription and verified your benefits, we can schedule your appointment.
