Alexandria Gianakos

My approach is to connect with your body’s inherent wisdom through bodywork. With a clinical lens for abdominal, myofascial, table shiatsu and cupping, I aim to support your natural dynamic state and reduce pain, discomfort, and restriction.
This bodywork practice is rooted in my personal meditation and movement practices. As a student of Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche and Eva Wong my approach is framed by Buddhist and Taoist wisdom. I honestly believe all my clients have what they need to connect deeply and I’m a partner on their path.
My background of yoga instruction in community clinics and jail inform my value of bodywork as a core component of personal and community health. I work with activists, parents, change makers, professors, and more to manage their health.
Through a thorough health analysis utilizing Chinese diagnostic tools I often treat:
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Frozen Shoulder
  • Deep nervous system dysregulation
  • Digestive disorders
  • Menstrual irregularities
  • Psychoemotional issues
