  • North Node 77 Cornell Street Kingston, NY, 12401 United States (map)

🌑 Nourishing Yin 🌑

Lesser Fullness Solar Term: Grains are ripening but not quite full. Rain has lessened to a drizzle but conditions are still wet.
Nourishing Yin is rooted in Chinese Medicine, emphasizing the body's meridians – the pathways of energy. In this class, we blend intentional postures with Taoist principles to stimulate energy flow optimal for the season,
Benefits of Nourishing Yin:
  • Meridian Nourishment: Poses work seasonally specific meridians, promoting energy balance and nourishment within the body
  • Extended Stillness: Postures are supportively held for 5-7 minutes, allowing you to settle into your inner landscape and nourish your connective tissue.
  • Energy Revitalization: Activate and balance qi
  • Emotional Equilibrium: Nourishing Yin supports the balancing of emotions, fostering tranquility and mental clarity
We end each class by dedicating the merit. This means any and all benefits our bodies receive in class are for the benefit of all sentient beings.
