Leaves of Change: Contemplative Practices for the Personal & Collective Body
Over the course of eight sessions we will discuss the current microseason and personal practices to stay in rhythm. From Spinal meditation, phenology studies to developing relationship with the land you live on (even in an apartment!) we will explore how to map the internal and external shifts from Chinese Medicine’s skillful time tracking.
One massive difference between the 21st century and when the calendar was first created is that humans are currently destroying the planet. So how does all of this meditation and self care work when our seasons are shifting and we can't rely on the tried and true dates? We’ll be joined by leaders in the indigenous rights spaces, black farmers, and mental health professionals specializing in climate crisis to help us learn how folks are navigating this and what this means for our communities.
If you’re interested in participating in a group where you not only learn self care practices but you learn from local leaders, know a portion of your tuition goes to supporting amazing orgs and that you’ll be in direct community navigating these topics then please join me!
