Spring Yoga Nidra

  • North Node 77 Cornell Street Kingston, NY, 12401 United States (map)
Yoga nidra is a way to reconnect with our natural state of rest. Building on the work of influential Black women in the United States and the deep wisdom of the Himalayan tradition, this event views rest as a political and personal engagement.
There’s very little movement, physical exertion or action. But internally, there is intention, flow and regeneration. It quite literally brings us to the “liminal space” between dreaming and sleeping. In this class you can expect to:
  • Learn how to set the body up for a long period of rest
  • Be guided into a state of deep relaxation and ease
  • Incorporate an intention or “Sankalpa” for your rest
