Yoga Nidra: For Healthy Personal & Collective Change

The world needs you. But you need you too, right? This Himalayan Yogic Sleep practice offers safety and rest to your nervous system while expanding awareness and orient towards healthy change during this time of chaos.

What does a Yoga Nidra Class Feel like?

Each session has a unique intention to acknowledge and include the suffering of our kin. As we move through the body scan and breathing awareness, this intention becomes an anchor, gently returning to consciousness while your body remains deeply relaxed.

The guided visualization portions might invite you to imagine a more just world or connect with your capacity for transformative action, allowing these images to integrate at a subconscious level. Throughout the practice, you might be guided to notice and release tensions connected to social inequities you've witnessed or experienced, creating space for both personal healing and commitment to collective liberation.

The restorative nature of yoga nidra combined with a justice-focused intention can help replenish emotional reserves for those engaged in social change work, reducing burnout while strengthening internal resolve.
